States Get $30 Million to Help Seniors Enroll in Medicare Prescription Drug Plan

In a push to enroll more seniors in the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan before the 2006 enrollment period ends on May 15, the U.S. Federal government is giving an additional $30 million to states and some territories for a program that provides free one-on-one assistance to Medicare beneficiaries.
