If Experts Don't Understand the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan, How Can We?

Bad news for the Medicare prescription drug plan: the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) reports that call service representatives had trouble accurately answering Medicare questions. Apparently, consumers are not the only ones who find the Medicare prescription drug plan confusing.

Kathy Gill, your Guide to U.S. Politics, reports that Medicare call service representatives were able to provide "accurate and complete responses to about one-third of the 864" completed telephone inquiries. Medicare officials were angry about the GAO report, and said that the call representatives were given "trick questions." See for yourself...
