Medicare and Medicaid are two of the most mystifying health care insurance coverage plans we have to deal with. It helps when there is information that is broken into sections and easily understood. Another area baby boomers may want to research is Long Term Care insurance. This will cover care beyond a predetermined time period which is not covered by Medicare or Medicaid when a lengthy illness or surgical recovery time is need. Most insurance companies now carry LTC policies. While an added cost now, trying to fill the gap later is a very difficult task.
