Enjoy Camping? Get a Lifetime Senior Pass to U.S. National Parks

Monday February 2, 2009
When the weather is cold I like to daydream about warm weather, being outside and enjoying the sunshine. And every year I look forward to one of my favorite activities--camping.

If you're age 62 or older, one of the best senior travel bargains anywhere is the Senior Pass, a low-cost lifetime pass that admits seniors free to U.S. national parks, forests, refuges, monuments and recreation areas, from Denali National Park in Alaska to the Florida Everglades. After a low one-time processing fee, the Senior Pass allows U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are at least 62 years old (and their immediate families or traveling companions) to have free access to the beauty and adventure found in U.S. national parks.
