With so many boomers considering retirement in the near future, housing options are on many people's minds.
I dream about retiring to someplace warm, with mountains close enough so I can see snow when I want to, but far enough away so I won't ever have to shovel it. I'm also considering dividing my time between a U.S. city and an exotic foreign locale, where I'll be forced to learn a new language (which I've heard helps to keep your mind sharp). I used to live in city #2 on this list of best cities for seniors, and now I live in #1. It will be hard to top this, but I'll keep trying.
A growing number of boomers and retirees are going back to college--not just to learn, but to live. Learn how colleges and universities throughout the United States are teaming with real-estate developers to create campus-affiliated residential communities, and why baby boomers, retirees and other active seniors are choosing to live on college campuses.
