Adjust your computer settings for greater accessibility

I have reluctantly accepted the fact that I have presbyopia, which sounds a lot worse than it is. I also learned that I am in good company -- presbyopia is age-related and affects everyone.

So now I carry reading glasses wherever I go, but sometimes when I use my portable computer I need to adjust the screen to see something more clearly. For people with disabilities of any sort, it's helpful to know how to adjust your computer's settings for greater accessibility.
