Get a Free Guide to Affordable and Free Medication
Find reduced-cost or free medication and vaccines for low-income Americans

By Sharon O'Brien, About.com

There are nearly 46 million Americans who do not have health insurance and who cannot afford to pay for the medication and vaccines that are critical to their health.

Because many of these needy Americans are not aware of programs that can help them get reduced-cost or free medication, a large pharmaceutical company has developed the Guide to Affordable Medicine. This free publication, available online or by mail from Merck & Company, provides information about available public and private assistance programs which offer reduced-cost or free medication and vaccines to eligible Americans.

To download a free copy of the Guide to Affordable Medicine or request a free brochure, or to learn more about Merck’s patient assistance programs, see Merck Programs to Help Those in Need.
