Interested in Lifelong Learning?

Find a School, College or Library Near You

By Sharon O'Brien, About.com

It is estimated that nearly half of the adult U.S. population is involved in some form of lifelong learning, whether that's in pursuit of an academic degree, work training, or taking up a new hobby.

If you are interested in lifelong learning, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) has a handy resource that will help you locate the lifelong learning resources that are closest to you.

Search for:

  • Public and private schools
  • Colleges and universities
  • Trade schools
  • Libraries

The NCES database allows you to search by school name, city, state, or within a range of 1-50 miles of your zipcode.
