Vary the Routine

When traveling with your grandchildren, allow them to have a variety of activities in the day. Kids have a lot of energy that they need to burn off, but like seniors they get tired and need to rest.

Make sure your grandchildren have opportunities to run, climb, dance or swim to burn off energy every few hours, followed by a quiet activity like taking a walk, enjoying a snack, or watching a video together.
