I've invested some, saving some and I'm finally having the travel adventures I dreamed about when I was working. Next trip? Antarctica!

I HAVE A REVERSE MORTAGE

I like my neighbors, enjoy urban gardening/fruit trees, and find Adaptive Technology interesting. I am slowly upgrading my home and yard. I chose a RM for limited income reasons, and a house beats an apartment for me. I chose RM because adaptive technology and home health care offer promise for me. Walking, treadmill, exercise biking, good diet, light movement/weights should keep me in my home well past the point where the bank completely owns my RM contract. My RM helps me invest in my quality of life. I admire the philosophy of Good Work and walk daily with my Creator and Jesus, as I am able. My advice: adapt, improvise, continue. Take something and make it better. Ultimately, the only free and private property is with the spirit and the mind. A man once told me "We have only have the use of things for a time." Love has many forms...life is a journey. Carefully consider the + and - costs of using a RM to live effectively: time, energy, comfort and renewed life options.
